concerning the scholastic contest

so today i asked if i could submit my lotus elise picture to the scholastic art awards...the answer...no. evidentally the contest judges are so uptight about cheating and the authenticity/creative nature of the piece that u are not allowed to submit any picture that has been created based on a photograph. pretty much if u look at a picture to base ur art on...ur art isnt worthy of their contest. oh well a little angry caue i feel its a stupid rule...it rules out almost all automotive art.
