Well this is an Iso Isetta "bubble Car" BMW was interested in makeing an extermly tiny car that would have universal appeal for the masses so they contraced the help of the Firm Iso to build their Bubble car it came out with a bmw 297 cc motorbike engine and made 13 hp being able to propel the car at 51 mph (or 82 km/h for those of us who use metric) this vehical was fairly popular for its time in germany 1955-62 and it was a direct competition to the messerschmitt and the heinkel.

Well heres one you might find intersting The australian Lighburn Zeta! The poor cars timing couldent of been any worse 63-66 when the Mini Minor took the country by storm. Also not helped was the the fact that lighburn was origonally a South Australian Washing machine company. The car ran off a 2-stroke motor and wasnt built with a reverse gear you had to turn the key they other way round and start the engine backwards the goog humor value about that was you could do its top speed 60 mph in in reverse of foreward it was also a full fubre glass contruction and before the demis of this diminutive vehical it sold 363 cars to the australian public.
