(from Roock Press Release) ATLANTA, November 4, 2003: ROOCK North America has taken one of the most powerful sports cars on the road today, the Porsche 911 Turbo, and made it even faster by increasing it’s horsepower from 415 to a staggering 650.

ROOCK’s extensive tuning program for the RST 650 starts with the standard twin turbo, 3.6-liter six-cylinder engine. ROOCK adds a power treatment of modified twin-turbochargers, enhanced engine control unit, GT2 oil pump and customized heads and valves. These exclusive upgrades allow the ROOCK RST 650 to produce an astounding 650 horsepower at 4,900 rpm and a maximum torque of 620 lb-ft. ROOCK’s masterpiece in speed charges from 0-60 in 3.6 seconds, topping out at 212 mph.

That’s just the beginning of the story. ROOCK has also added a modified racing clutch for dynamic shifting and a specially tuned suspension that is fully adjustable in bump and rebound. To ensure ultimate stopping power, ROOCK has equipped the RST 650 with new cross drilled and vented 15 inch 8-piston brakes. The revolutionary new 4-pad design improves brake “bite” and increased brake power.

The interior is specially equipped with an aluminum half roll cage and GT2 seats. The silver accented center console is modified to include an oil and temperature gauge and an exclusive push button start.

Elegantly designed body styling parts have been added to the exterior that include the ROOCK front splitter and ROOCK GT rear spoiler. The RST 650 is fitted with new ROOCK Competition 2 19 inch 5-spoke, 2-part aluminum wheels and brand new to the market, Michelin Pilot Sport PS2 tires.

ROOCK North America, based in Roswell, GA, is the only German-owned Porsche tuner with a U.S. headquarters. ROOCK offers unique, high quality products and performance systems for the Porsche Boxster, Boxster S, all 911 models and the recently introduced Cayenne SUV.
