Mustang Gtr Concept

I would have to say that the Ford Mustang GTR Concept is my favorite concept car.

The little known 1989 Matra M25
Turbo-charged 1800cc, 4 cilinder, 200+HP central placed engine in a 650 kg "light" car resulted in a sort of guided missile on wheels called "little dragster" From 0 to 100km/h in 4,3 seconds ! thats faster then a lot of the Ferrari's !. The chassis is made of Aluminium and the body panels of carbon fibre.
Pre-dating the Elise and way ahead of it's time.
It was built in recognition that as governments limited top speeds it woudl be acceleration that woudl matter in towns and more congested roads

Here's the first set, this is of a Chrysler Turbine, a turbine-powered car that very nearly maed it into production. If I recall correctly, they actually built 100 working prototypes that they gave to people to use for 6 months so they could gain insight on how well the functioned in the real world. They did this for a few years before dropping the project.

Here's the second set. Too bad there aren't more/better pics of this one. 1957 Cadillac "Director". Basically a mobile office - it had a mobile phone, a typewriter, a file cabinet, and the front passenger seat swiveled around so the secretary could sit there and take dictation! I almost think this would sell today given how busy and in a rush everyone is in these days.
