Where has the common car comp gone? It upsets me that sl55kman's pic, as well as Maniks, although OK, has way too many votes for it. More, I should add, votes than Mcreis, who has a great pic this week.

It's not your fault, he's just stating that the people voting in this comp went against the civic rule, or don't have a good eye for photography.

sl55kleeman's shot is very good. Well composed, well lit, its a very good angle and brings out the cars shape very nice, and Manik's shot is not far behind

Somewhat. The civic rule is when people vote for a boring picture of a Ferrari or something, just because it's a Ferrari. If you put a Honda Civic in it's place, it'd get no votes, that's the Civic Rule in a nutshell.

basically every car photo comp in that last year or so has been against the civic rule, its stupid, i think im just not entering anymore, because even if i did win it would be because of the car in it, people at this particular forum are very price centric in this competition, ive very rarely seen a picture of an ordinary car entered, or if it was, never have i seen one win, usually the winner is a boring drab exotic


like xar's (no offense here man) its pretty boring, i would bet the main reason it has 10 votes is because "oooo wow looky a birdcage im voting for HIM!"
