I agree with the second line, but I really think these pics belong in general photography....

I'm happy with cars, bikes, boats, and trucks. But not planes, people post them in the General comp anyway.

I'm with you, the Automotive competition should be limited to cars, since this is a car page.

The competition title is "Automotive" so to me that means anything that can be considered "Automotive" which includes motorbikes but would not include pushbikes.

I have to agree with Henk4.

However:

The only similarity that allows these pics to be present in Automotive competition is the emotional part people had to them, as with cars. Nothing else in a man's world is as similar.

It's all about passion, speed, modification, racing, Grand Prix. And most of all, there are only two types of automobiles when you discard every unneccessary stuffs:

4 wheels and 2 wheels.

Hence I agree with Henk4's point of argument, but couldn't agree with the outcome if he won the argument. peculiar ain't it?

I just checked back on the initial voting thread.

HENK4

Imagine if it's your photo and either one of these bikes in the runoff.

Truck VS Bike. . . . . .

I am not sure if I understand what you mean....do you think having a bike in my truck picture would have given me a vote?
Anyway, we go to events were bikes also appear and I take pictures of those because I like the technology, especially for older ones. I would however not enter one of those for this competition.
The Michelin trucks were shot during the Paul Ricard test weekend, and as such were part of an automotive event. I have taken several shots of the trucks parked in the paddock because they are a part of the atmosphere.
