Yeah that's fine, just swap it in the original post otherwise I'll forget to look for this one.

Incredible shot!

Was that taken from a helicopter?

EDIT: Perhaps a plane...

Thanks. The shot was taken from a Cirrus s22 Turbo prop with advanced avionics package. I was invited by the editor of Chronos magazine to take a one day trip. I was picked up in Frederick MD, flew to Pottstown (I actually did the take off!) We picked up the editor (Charley Moyer) and his friend, we then flew to White Plains after circling the Statue of Liberty and flying up the Hudson at 1500 feet. The amount of helicopter and plane traffic was incredible. The coordination and awareness of the traffic controllers was quite stunning. Unfortunately the haze was over power which made for mediocre photography.

We then switched planes to the more advanced model and then took off for Saratoga Springs. We landed there, had lunch at a fantastic spot, sat next to and spoke with Andy Rooney. Then we took off for the Saratoga Classic Car Museum. Had a private tour with the curator. Took a bunch of tripod photos. They had a one off 1956 Bardahl Ferrari Experimental Indy car. They also had one of three, 3 seater Dinos. Plus a cool Maserati and several other cars. Weather moved in so we ran back to the plane, flew inbetween several nasty thunderstorms. The Avionics package was invaluable mixing terrain with GPS with 10 minute old radar weather. It also showed incoming traffic.

We beat the storm to NY. We got permission to fly down the Hudson at 1500 feet after coordinating with several controllers and do one loop around the lady (statue of Liberty) The sun opened up between the clouds and lit up central park and the rest of NY. The golden flame on the statue of Liberty looked like it was on fire! We then continued the reverse of our original flight plan, marveling at the horrendous traffic stacking up coming out of the Verrazano Bridge. I started at 9 am in Frederick and was returned there by 7:30. What a fantastic way to travel. I need to hit the lottery. Speaking of which, at the White Plains airport we saw this gentleman get out of his big Lear jet and walk over to his waiting Sikorsky helicopter and take off with his golf bags in hand.

So that is how I got that picture!

There was, which made me pleased it came out like it did. Most exhibits in that bulding had mucked up glass and really hindered the pics. But this guy had a good setup. I have a close up of him that I almost put in instead of this one.

You can't get that effect any other way. I think it can ruin photos.
