Mitsuoka Orochi Premium Gold #2
I just can't get to grips with the fact that I don't hate it...
It's part steampunk, part manga, all awesome.
Whats not to love?
I guess the interior is a bit too ordinary, other than that I have to admit I like it.
I'll go so far as to say I like Mitsuoka and all their weird cars.

Scary...but think i have to agree with you on that one. All Mitsuokas are somewhat ridiculous, but that also gives them some sort of character that ander cars miss.
Yes it's puzzling that car that should be hated, just isn't. Like that Porschellac in the other thread.
Thanks :)
no. you are all wrong. it is terrible.
I kinda feel between pokey and the rest....it is oddly horrifyingly appealing.
This looks like something Godzilla would fight. No thanks.

That's probably the point.
IIRC there was another special edition of this car, themed around a mythological dragon.
Yeah, I agree with the majority. Its VERY different; whole package looks "horrifyingly benevolent"...art on wheels, somewhat.
It just looks a little cheap, though. How much power does this batmobile put out?
The first time I had seen this car was in a racing video game; "Auto Modellista", I think it was called. When I first saw it, I was thinking, "This must be some fan-generated Hot Wheels car." Googled it, turned out it was real. I think it was also one of the first times I had visited UCP (when I was just a website lurker). :)
It's based on an NSX chassis, but it's now powered by underwhelming 230 bhp engine from Toyota, mated to a 5-speed automatic gearbox.
Doesn't it have a bespoke chasis? I think it does.
