very smooth , great looking & a diverse bunch of AI this time
long loads tho
they also have a more realistic ABS system now , & its less effective because of it . now it does some proper locking & unlocking
will really show off the gains you can get from no-aid driving

haha yeah whiteballz was saying before that they actually cause their own accidents and stuff this time. lessens the impression of just following some robots around the track.
will pick it up this afternoon if i can.

not a ground braking news, but appreciated.
I still remember when the AI tried to simulate that in GT1 or GT2, which would have happened always in the same turn, no more than 3 time per each 2 hours race. Very realistic, yeah.
SCAR had a great AI I think, being a game when you always drive ehat the opponents are driving, it is necessary that each opponent behaves in a different way with each car, and it worked, both considering how they drive and how the drive against you, with some letting you pass, and other smashing you out of the track. You son of a b****...
I've not played it yet (worked well into the arvo, then the boss called me to the local Belgian Beer Cafe), but I want Forza 3 to have the Zolder track. So much fun it is, based on GTL.
Just letting you know, the Toyota supra is a must buy for tyre shredding shenanigans. You can choose single or trim turbo, so I went for the single.. HOLY shite it's fast, the on dash tacho is maxxed out in 2nd gear the way my gearing is set. 300kph in a half mile..
Ps; twin turbo dodge rams are hilariously shithouse.
AI is improved but still retarded.
it's like having a down syndrome child be cured, but then becomes autistic.
if they hit you they still just floor it into you rather than back off... don't they know the idea is to get the car back in one piece? lol.
also, driving simulator my ass.. i drove a honda jazz and it DID NOT FLIP OR ROLL when taking any corners at any speed, what bullshit.
edit: also, if the fiat 500 abarth really handles like that, goddamn, i want one

Let's be honest here. You do want one. :)
yes.. yes i do :D
i dont know if the Ai are "better" , but i see them moving around more & showing a bigger range of behaviour than in FM2
try the kerbs in the Nordschlife , the cars definantly flip over in FM3

And the AI still does that annoying thing where if you just touch the back of their car they slam on the brakes.

Slam and stiffen the lexus ISF, That thing flips like a mofo.
On the subject of things we dont like - Where is the 180Sx and series 2 S14?
And moreso, why arent there more bodykits? 3/4 is justwhat was in forza 2..
Having said that, DL the new tracks and cars. Well worth it..
2JZ supra with single turbo and AWD conversion. Shenanigans.
There's a lot of puzzlement with the car selection... what, not Can-Am cars? I want a Porsche 917/30! No HSV/FPV is disappointing, given the racers are in there. Etc. Still, fun fun fuuuun.. if multiplayer tag works, that could be awesome shenanigans.
I've come to be under the distinct impression that they've intentionally held back alot of cars to be served up later as DLC. I don't see why they couldn't just cram everything they already had into the full game.....and put together the extra cars later (like with FM2). All this business of some cars being available only to VIP's and some only being available on the CE is aggravating.
The rest of the package looks like it'll satisfy, even if it isn't as big a step from FM2 as I would have liked. The limited car roster (as in.....not having expanded much since the last game) will probably be my biggest disappointment here.
