the wife already ruled out Ettore and Enzo, i dont know the names of the Maserati brothers off hand, so that has less of an appeal to it, same with the AM guys. i dont want it to be completely obvious (though i suppose it would be with Enzo), but i appreciate the ideas.

Wasn't there a couple in England who named their child Kia and Kia gave them a car or something?
They gave birth in the back of a Kia on the way to the hospital, so they named the poor kid Kia, Kia heard about it and gave them a Kia. Hence the comment on Top Gear: "So why did you name your kid Pagani Zonda With The Optional Ceramic Brake Package?"

That was it.
Then rent some nice car, have the kids there, and name them after the car.
Job done.

cedric is terrible too.
you forgot Gloria. and i actually really like Giulia, though she prefers the Julia spelling.
actually, i like both of those, since they are car and weather related. but agree on the stripper soundingness to it.

so, some news.
Japan is out. I still don't know where I will be going, but I know where I won't be going. There is a very high likelihood of San Diego, but again, it's nowhere near anything to bank on.

Just curious, but weren't you renovating a house recently?
Was that to prepare it to be sold?

yes, and yes. we did a lot of work on our house in Monterey, it is currently up for sale, though there doesn't seem to be a lot of interest. real estate sucks.

I see.
So you're in Rhode Island now, but you may be moving back to the West coast?

Sledge wins the drinking and posting game.
Anyway, yes I am in RI. I am here for school prior to returning to a ship. Hopefully that will be in San Diego, but that remains to be seen.
And what I had said before Sledge wrote over it was that I test drove an Odyssey today. Check it out on the "I Just Drove a" thread.

One of my cooworkers has an odyssey and we travel in it together quite often. Havent driven it myself, but my only complaint is the rear doors and the automatic opening thing. I hate waiting the 8 seconds it takes for it to "self-open". Wish I could just grab the thing and be done with it.
On a positive note, she is much more of an aggressive driver than I am. Mabey because its due to all the pent up rage that she has due to driving a minivan...
