I have to admit what -What- just said is pretty cool. But then I read his chop request thread...
Maybe I've missed something, but I have to say that out of the posts I've read by "-What-" (which haven't been many), I've never seen a problem. Where is this thread?

My best guess is I dont have another shot for now...maybe in a few weeks or months something might start up again
Or maybe she is crazy, I have no clue:p:confused:
I'm not normally one to give 'advice' on matters like this, and you're probably not asking for this advice anyways, but, here is my opinion.
I think that the whole thing happened too fast, maybe because of the situation the whole "I've come to fix your garage door" thing, and you were like "wow" when you saw her. I think that you maybe took things a bit too fast and got a bit of 'caught up in the moment' syndrome.
However, in my opinion, (and I may be making an assumption and maybe I'm wrong) but I think that this girl is wondering if she is up for this, as you've said she's been busy and maybe other stuff comes before a relationship in her eyes, I know from experience that sometimes you've got to back off, and give each other some space, maybe she needs time to realise what she might miss out on.
This girl might not be the type to notice her Knight in Shining Armor when he appears in front of her, and I don't think she is crazy, but maybe she is living in the whole 'fairy tale' romance frame of mind, and not up for a whirl-wind romance.
Dont lose your confidence because that makes you who you are. You never know, maybe she is waiting for you to phone her to talk about things, although, she may be waiting to see how you react to not hearing from her, There is nothing a girl likes more than a man who understands her. She may be glad that you have given her the space she needs and that you are not being 'pushy' like most of the other guys out there.
I'm not going to make any suggestions because this is your call, and at the end of the day, it doesn't affect my life, but yours.
You can either sit back and wait and miss out on an opportunity that may never come again, or you can talk to her, like a friend and get to know her as a friend before anything else, because in a relationship, being friends is all that counts and I know that to all you guys this seems really mushy and lovey dovey but it's true, There is no point in being with someone, if you can't talk to them like a friend.
I am sorry if I have rambled on or not made any sense at all and maybe contradicted myself, but sometimes when you find the right person you can't plan what will happen or what to say. You have to go with it and persevere.
So there are my thoughts, and I'm sorry if you don't agree with this.
Good luck with this girl.

A man can understand everything on this world, there is one thing that he can never. Girls.
I've written Matlab programmes 10 pages long. I've made extensive 3D-CAD models of a complete vehicle. Easy, compared to girls.
The girl I was talking about earlier seems to be going relatively slow now. Don't think it is going to end up in more than a friendship anymore. Bummer.

i feel for you :D, but take note that length is no measure of function, a difficult code may be very short due to complex loops, conditions, etc. Actually sometimes my lazier code is longer because i cant be bothered using more matlab functions which would shorten the code.

Still time consuming though, and is subject to breaking down. Is this the spaceframe we saw or something different? I had a go at modelling a monocoque chassis, i wouldnt mind a wee look, i at least would appreciate a thread with some pics.

I'd love to post them or send them but due to commercial interests and a "secrecy clause" I signed on it, I cannot send them. The finished product will be worth the waiting though. *looks over his left shoulder at concept vehicle*
edit:
The biggest work is in joining all the individual components together. It rarely happens evertyhting fits together exactly, even though you've ha exhaustive meetings time and time again to make sure of this.. The work isn't in the components itself (we usually modify allready drawn parts anyway to meet the very tight deadlines), but in the assembly. The software we have to use isn't really pleasant for that either.. :o Ah well, that's life. Atleast now it doesnt matter too much if i **** up.

You don't need to be a SM to take part! (Waugh-terfall and Mr.Tiv have shiny avatars honouring Drakkie). The point of the whole SM thing isn't just ownage! ;)
