Hmm, not sure how to deal with rotary motors...
no prob as was clear from start that Russel's flat 6es collection would create an insurmountable total until Jim posts :-)
I was waiting for Fleet to post his cadre of V8s, but I'm not sure that'll come close.
Anyone want to try and do Jay Leno's?

Haha, you'd have trouble with giving equivalency with steam engines.
That is really nutty. I never knew that Honda made an I5. I had to look that up because I didn't know if I could believe it. Is that DOHC with VTEC? That could make for some pretty insane(ly expensive) engine swaps. Sounds like the kind of thing Top Secret would do.
As for me, I just got out on my own feet and am still at zero cylinders. Don't even have a bike right now but at least I am saving lots of money :p
Apparently not. It's a SOHC engine.

No wonder I think it's so torquey- it has 177 hp and 166 ft lb of torque.
That would be the most torquey car in our lineup.
4 = nissan sentra
6 = chrysler 300
6 = dodge caravan
total 16 cylinders :)
8, all in my Ford LTD Crown Victoria (it was on 7 for a while, that was a joy and a half)
Lets see,
335d - Straight 6
Audi Q5, 09' was a V6 but thats recently been upgraded for a turbo 4
Jetta is a 4 bangin diesel
Ducati Monster is a L twin
so that puts me at 16 cylinders and 7.8 liters of displacement.
702 horsepower
952 ftlbs of torque
no bad at all!
Do turbo's still get a 1.5 liter displacement multiplication? or diesels?
911- 6 cyl
nissan patrol- 6cyl
honda jazz- 4cyl
leyland mini- 4cyl
sundries:
victa push mower - 1cyl
deere ride on mower - 1cyl?
whippersnipper - 1 cyl
23 cylinders!
Chevy truck - 8
Nissan Altima - 4
Mitsubishi Galant - 4
Yamaha Maxim-X - 4
lawn mower - 1
chainsaw - 1
Total - 22
Think I can add in my air compressor to tie clutch-monkey? It has a piston!

You sold the Ducati, that doesn't count! :p

Anything with a piston counts!
Damn, I am falling behind in the rankings LOL! I went from bronze medal to 5th place
My understanding is that it has to be an internal combustion piston - your compressor piston wouldn't count, but if it's run by an internal combustion motor, the cylinder(s) on the motor count!

Since you put up some other metrics...
Total displacement: 9,3l
Average # of cylinders: 4,5 cyl/vehicle
Average displacement: 2,33l/vehicle
Total # of camshafts: 9
Total # of valves: 52
Since I can only make an educated guess at the current HP of two of the vehicles and a less educated guess at the tq on them, I won't try to touch that one :)
