Not to be rude but
Why would you care about Hyundai or Kia at all?
Actually who cares about korean cars?
in the 70-ties the Consultancy Department of a British shipbuilding company received a UK Export award, because they transferred the knowledge to help the Koreans, (Hyundai) to set up a large shipyard. Forty years later, the Koreans produce about 50% of the world shipbuilding output. Hyundai alone has a 25% market share. The British Shipbuilding Industry (as is the one in the US) merely produces for defense purposes....
so better beware of what you are saying about Koreans.

Plus Hyundai/Kia has been pushing hard lately with good results. They are more competitive than ever, and US sales of their products have been increasing rapidly. I can see why. 5 years ago nobody took them seriously, today most car buyers would be foolish not to take a second look at their products.

+1 they are also beating every Japanese made cars. Another reason to keep an eye on them because of the prices of their cars. They are really competitive especially when you look at their 2011-2012 lineup. Well to be honest i dont mind looking at their models way back 4-5 years ago. But now they are releasing some mind blowing designs, unexpected!
