I'm a man of simple tastes, but I can't make up my mind between the Ferrari 250 Lusso or a Jaguar XK-SS... so let's go with my first love, the 1962 Ferrari 250 Lusso!

That's shaping uo to be nightmare to choose! :)
Altough, possibly we should make a special category for the prewar cars. It wouldn't be fair for the dishwashers.
I'm going to nominate something more modern - Citroen C6
Runner up's were BMW 2800 CS and Ferrari 308 GTB
Ferrari 250 GTO. I just think its absolutely stunning.

I would support the first and second too, for the Ferrari I would take the 288GTO. (to be added to the list:))
The C6 is a thing of beauty - in real life that is...
If i could add one more it would be the Peugeot 504 Cabriolet:

You can't see the beauty in picture but in real life - on a summer day the beach! - oh wow!
^ Not fair, any convertible on a summer day at the beach is exciting :P
I'd say this thread is very subjective. Everyone has their favourite cars for whatever reason, but for most of the cars in this thread I can think of a reason why I think it's not the most beautiful ever.
I'd like to nominate the fantastic Alfa 8C Competizione, but it's hard to recommend a modern car over so many older cars that have stood the test of time.
I'd probably have to put in a vote for the Jag E-type roadster.

E-Type is also a must on the list :)
Indeed, can't get around the E-type roadster

the E-Type suffers from the same optical problem as the Delahaye earlier posted. A ridiculously narrow track...very prominent when looking at the car straight from the front or from behind.
Many cars are a must on the list, including some which aren't necessarily from Europe.
Like the 1935 Auburn 851 Boattail Speedster.
This car probably won't get lots of votes considering the types of cars other people are going for, but I still just can't get over this one. Its like every single line is in the correct place.

hmm since the 250 GTO is already nominated i'll throw in something else but it's a super tough decision. I threw around the Alfa 6C 2500, Aston Martin DBS Volante and the Aston DB9 but i choose: The Jaguar XJ220
'There is also the 300sl
how about the bmw 507?
Elvis had one...
