Your family owns a garage?
What you're doing. I see it.
Retro German Bundespolizei styling?
It's a vinyl wrap right?
Just curious, do you need to update your registration for that?

Yep, it's a vinyl wrap. AFAIK I don't need to update the registrations.
It's just temporary, so I think it will pass on a EU-chek etc. But I can't say for sure, since I have never been stopped, or been to a EU-chek with a wrapped car.
The color is a bit special yeah, I was very excited to see how it looked when it was done for sure, as I have never seen a car with this vinyl. I wanted it to be different, a head turner. Since this is for promotional use, I have added some logos etc :) This removes a bit of the military looks IMO.
I also had my first long trip with her this weekend :) Did a tour/detour trip to Oslo this Saturday, to see an auto show down there. I'm very pleased with the car as a long distance cruiser, and the engine pleases me even more. Being stated to 140hp/340nm, I feel the powerband is better than in the 159's 1,9 JTDm engine, which is stated to 150hp/320nm. The milage for the whole trip was 0,59 l/100km, even though the engine hasn't been broken inn properly yet. I expect this to be lower when it has done some more km's. The 6 speed gearbox suits the engine well also.
The chassis is comfortable, despite running 18" wheels. The studless wintertires probably helps a bit on the comfort, but the Micheline X-Ice tires is not among the softest studless tires on the market. I drove on dry roads, no snow or ice, and the car performed well with the little "inspired" driving we did.
Among the gadgets I find the GPS easy too use and accurate in time to arrival estimation (which I find very annoying when GPS' is missing), head-up display is phenomenal for long distance cruising, and a +1 for GPS guidance in the head-up display. The Bi-Xenon lights felt strong, despite this being the hardest part of the year for lighting up the roads up here. The turning headlights is like made for Norway, where the highways also have alot of turns. I find it very satisfacting that the high beam is turning as well. I have learned that other cars only have it on low beam.
This is my thoughts so far, I guess I will be back with a better review later.
The add's actually made the car look so much better!
And a nice review of the trip there, email it to Peugeot and i think they will jump through the roof with something that is so easy to market ;) (if you give them their blessing of course ;))
Full car vinyl wrap cost quite a bit if you have to pay someone to do it right?
Here about the same price of a fairly decent paint job for single vinyl.
For printed a bit more :(

Yeah it made it look more complete :)
I will send it to Peugeot, and make them pay me for the commercial value of my good reviews :D

Yep, it is expensive. But, there is a lot of work with a good wrap. We can use up to 35-40 hours of labour on a high quality wrap. The price for a passenger car up here is about 2500 euros. 5-700 euros is represented for the vinyl alone.

I can't wait to see what it can really do when it's been broken in properly...!! :D

Me too :)
And I also have to obtain my right foot in more upright position if I want to get the greatest results...
She still works as a charm, I am surprised. If this was an Alfa, it would have broken down by now!
Nice! Good looking, practical, and also not underpowered.
now lower it ^-^'

Hope your joking!
One should not mess with the comfort on a french car - you'll destroy it!

You should not mess with a French car at all :D
Lowering will never be given a thought, don't you worry!

Here is a short video of when we did the wrap on the Peugeot :)
How can I embed videos like the pros?
If i copy/paste the embedded address YouTube gives me, it just posts the gibberish, not an embedded video.
