Actually the 365 GTB/4 debuted seven years before the 308 GTB (1968 VS 1975).

but the dino sold well with no ferrari branding, perhaps 6000 usd at the time was a little to steep for a 1000cc 4 cylinder. It's a little sad it didn't take off as it was supposed to be a peach of an engine, but then again whatever about v6's it would be difficult to see where a four cylinder would fit in the current ferrari line up.
