last year there was online streaming of Rado LeMans . during LeMans
i listened it last year .. it was my only coverage of the race .. with live timming

regarding the best speeds . check the best speeds and you'll see that those are in exact order of the fastest lasps .. that it's too much a coincidence..
i'll say it again . they're americans . and that's how they measure time

the Aston Martin project is factory backed . the 550 was full privateer they even bought the cars they built even used ones . like Mike Hezemans 550

One has to understand though, Prodrive is a factory in its own right for motorsports. They develop their own car because they already have the infrastructure to. The 550GTS project had no backing from Ferrari, but Prodrive with Dor's money made the car work. They've had plenty of experience turning production cars into racers from their involvement from WRC and supertourer. And their composite shop rivals that of any F1 team. Aston Martin project and Ferrari project are only differed by AM gave them blessing, but minimum financial involvement(Ford is not footing much of the bill, and its not surprising). Money is still mostly Dor's, and Dave Richard and Prodrive invested a lot into this program. As was eluded to during the Sebring broadcast, the engine of the DBR9 was actually based on the casting of the V12 only, Prodrive developed all the racing internal and head and all the accessories. Of course they are also expected to make money off selling the racer. And 11 cars have been sold thus far....
