Clean Sweep for Loeb
Loeb's win in the Tour de Corse is of course nothing special. However I wonder whether it has ever happened before that one driver won ALL stages.

I didn't even bother to write the reports this time. Sucks a lot for Panizzi - his Loeb-matching skill wasn't given justice when the Evo first lost it's brakes and then engine on his HOME RALLY. Happily Galli and 'Pera are in the top 10 though, even if that means last and second-last.

Loeb has indeed had an amazing year. It has although made it kinda boring knowing that Loeb will most likely win race after race. I'm looking forward to next season after the driver shuffle. Just my two sense. As for if a driver ever has won all stages in a single rally? I'm not sure, but that is an interesting thought.

Loeb will probably be joining Subaru next year or possibly going full time with Pescarolo Sport

Apparently the success of Loeb has made Citroen come back on its earlier decision to leave WRC. The story about Loeb is that he will join a Belgian private team that will continue to run the current Xsara. In 2007 the C4 (as presented in Geneva in 2004) will be fully developed.
His clean sweep of winning all stages of last weekend indeed is unique. Nobody ever managed to do this before.

After the new programme and rules for WRC in 2007 became official, Citroen officially announced it will return in 2007. This means that Loeb will continue in a "private" team Xsara for 2006.
He might be after a new "first": The first privateer WRC champion ![]()
