I'm unfamiliar with any of the Asian racing tournaments. I know Le Mans, but thats not asian. What are some well-known asian GT racing tournaments?

JGTC.

And before anyone says it, drifting is as much a sport as WWE wrestling.

So sh!t Sherlock!

Depends what kinda racing you're after I guess. If you're talking Asia then then the biggest motorsport nation in Asia has to be Japan. The biggest racing series in Japan is probably the Super GT series (formerly known as the JGTC). It's kinda like Japan's answer to the FIA GT Series. It contains plenty of the usual Ferrari and Porsche GT cars, but also heavily features Japanese brands, with plenty of racing versions of the NSX, Supra, Fairlady (350Z) etc etc. Oficial site here - http://supergt.net/en/

There are also several domestic single seater series in Japan, the most well known of them probably being the Formula Nippon series. Official site - http://www.f-nippon.co.jp/indexe.html The Japanese also have their own domestic Formula 3 series too, although it's not the most competitive F3 series in the world.

As for motorsports across the rest of Asia, I'm not really much of an expert. I know that several of the oil rich states in the Middle East are trying to get in on track motorsport in a big way, with multi million pound tracks cropping up places like Bahrain. Malaysia too is also seeing an increased interest in motorsport since the opening of the Sepang circuit and the yearly visit of the F1 circus. The same may be said of China too in a few years, but while the Shanghai circuit has been universally apllauded it remains to see whether the Chinese public will really take motorsports to their heart.

Across the Middle Eastern states desert rally driving has always been the motorsport of choice for those with the cash to go racing, but I don't really know much about the events that get held over there.

There's also the Asia-Pacific Rally series, a Group N based tourney. Goes through Japan, Malaysia, Australia (Canberra)...
