Off topic but it doesnt deserve a new thread. What are the Red and Yellow rings that are often seen on race cars? My assumption is that they are either for moving the vehicle or lifting it but I really dont know. They usually are located in the front and rear of the vehicle

yup, they use bright yellow or red for the track officials to be able to locate them easily.

They do in other championships, but I'm not sure about F1. A few years ago BTCC cars allegedly ran too low by a couple of mm and the drivers HAD to pick up rubber in order to pass.
