I think when the surface will be fixed Montreal will return. After all, it's one of the best tracks F1 has today.

Do you seriously think that matters?

Controversy has made the 2008 Formula One Season more exciting to watch. However, I hope the last 2 races are not dominated by controversy.

The ITV commentators said we will see more overtaking during the 2009 Formula One Season. Hopefully, that will be true.

I wouldnt mind so much. As bad as some of the stewards decisions have been, Massa and Hamilton have still been ordinary at times, taking turns in wearing the dunce cap. Kubica winning this years title would finish the year off perfectly the way its going.

It'd be great if Kubica won the title this year.

After their meeting in Geneva on Tuesday, Formula One racing’s governing body, the FIA, and the organisation formed by the teams, FOTA, have released the following joint statement:

“Today’s meeting in Geneva has produced significant cost savings for 2009 and 2010.

"FOTA are working urgently on further proposals for 2010 and thereafter.”
This is from an official website (October, 21).

From what I've read else, the things will be like this:
1. One engine for 3 GP's.
2. Teams that produce and sell engines will have to sell 25 engines per year (not 'about 25', but exactly 25...) at a price not exceeding 10 millions stated in Euro.

In Brasil KERS and customer chassis will be discussed.

I predict Raikkonen takes out Hamilton in turn one, Massa goes wide in pursuit, and Kubica wins, with Kovalainen second and Webber 3rd. Interlagos GP is a shitshow for the 2nd straight year. Hamilton finishes 19th and Massa finishes 5th, taking the championship.

One can dream right?

I say Sato and Davidson come back in cars equipped with machine guns in Brazil.

Perfect except for the finish, Alonso will let Massa pass him early on and Massa will win, Kubica will be second and Alonso 3rd

Force India have shaken things up going into next year, officially announcing theyve parted companies not only with Ferrari, but Colin Kolles and Mike Gascoyne.

Dropping Ferrari was to be expected with the team courting a deal with McLaren for a wider technical partnership, but the staff shakeup was more of a surprise but perhaps related as well. Kolles has been with the team since the Midland days and had been a strong opponent of Super Aguri and Toro Rosso racing customer cars through their Spyker days (he famously held confidential drawings of the Red Bull trying to prove they were breaking the rules). Perhaps with the likely result of Force India sharing many McLaren parts or indeed a McLaren chassis, he felt time to leave. Gascoyne had hopes of dragging the team towards the front of the grid over time as well, perhaps with a smaller demand from the team technically with the McLaren deal, he wasnt needed any further in his current role.
