Berger said Toro Rosso will retain Ferrari.
They'd be stupid not to.

I bet the drivers will freak out over this:Reflective tyre markings for Singapore night race
I'm sure the drivers'll say "Oh noz we'll lose 300% of tire grip and that will be dangerous"

2009 regulations in action - already tested in Jerez by Williams... Many people have already said it's plain ugly, but actually I don't think so - I'd say it's interesting, but it's me with my love to all new and fresh...

That looks like a cartoon. When will F1's legislators understand that looks are as important as anything to the fans. What a joke.

It does look strange.

However if it brings more action, so be it...

Not really. Obviously it would be great if all cars looked great, but at the end of the day I and most other F1 fans couldn't care less what the cars look like as long as the racing is good.

Conkered.

I like the lack of all the myriad winglets and horns etc, but the rear wing will take a lot of getting used to.

They say that these new regulations will increase the number of overtakings. Also they've said something about some standard part in a front wing for all teams.
Don't know whether these new aerodynamic regulations have been already posted somewhere here.. I read them in Russian.

Ugh that rear wing looks terrible.

I don't care if it improves the racing and brings more overtaking opportunities, I don't want to see ugly cars overtaking themselves. It's like watching a lawnmower race because they overtake more often than F1 drivers do. Do not want.

I'll watch documentaries on, say, deers on Discovery Channel instead. *use a slow, unenthusiastic voice here*: "The Hairy-fronted Muntjac is extremely difficult to study because of its shyness, it is considered to be endangered, possibly down to as few as 5-10,000 individuals spread over a wide area. It is a similar size to the common muntjac."

Yeah, this is much more like it.

F1 proved it can occasionaly make good legislation, no tc, slicks for 09, but this car proves that they are stil unsuited ofr the job. all the little strange wingles gave the imp[ression of technology and science. Having a wing like that make it look like f1 is going technologically backwards, and that i not good

If they want to encourage overtaking they should change the qualifying format. Qualifying with the fuel load for the race will ensure a parade. It's simple logic.

The FIA does not make the rules.

Ecclestone and the teams. The FIA governs the sport.

That looks funny as hell...I can see it now, all the ricers the world over sporting these little wings on rear or their Civics, Matrixs, Neons, Cavaliers, etc.

Formula Money has reported the 2008 spendings of the F1 teams.

Check it out.

Seems to me that the top 6 teams are in a different spending league form the bottom 4/5.

EDIT: How does this compare to other top flight motorsports? NASCAR, Le Mans for example.
