He did it to some Forvce India I think while battling for 13th place or something.

Not sure about Fisichella, but he certainly did that to Sato. Ant moved dutily out of the racing line for Hamilton, but Sato decided not to give up easily. After all it was a fight for position. After Lewis passed him, he even tried to fight back. That was brilliant
I guess Lewis is just more used to lapping Aguris and FIs then fighting with them

i didnt look to me like he was thanking them. I beleive that he did it when passing Sato & Fisichella for track position.
