The Polish flag is waving in my household tonight. Now hopefully they can beat Germany in the Euro Cup.

Way to go Robert, great job boys.

Kubica wins!

BMW wins!

Epic!

This merits a change of avatar for a brief time from my usual GV.

That's an historic 1-2 by BMW. Congrats guys.

I'm very glad to see Kubica win a race, he deserved it. Fantastic.

Yep and after seeing him, Barrichello and Trulli in front I though "oh no, I've time travelled to the 90's"...

Correct me if I am wrong, but was the last German manufacturer to win Porsche in 1962?

The team is technically Sauber-BMW. I guess then that the last german "manufacturer" to have won is Mercedes-Benz about a couple of weeks ago.

The team's nationality is classified as German though, and Mercedes-Benz is just an engine supplier.

I was referring to a chassis builder.

frankly, i'm elated though never been a supporter of BMW. polish anthemn and flag is what i was waiting for.

interesting to see all the people who where to see the match skipped to F1 and started getting excited about it. when Robert passed the flag most of my neighbours were yelling

Great race, full of madness and lead changes, but the result it still great; Kubica seems like a good guy and I have been rooting for him ever since he came into the series. BMW lead a great race and they deserve a win. Dr. Mario deserved this one as well. Lets see how long BMW can play spoiler in the the World Championship and Constructors titles.

The BMW Sauber team has two bases one is in Germany and the other in Switzerland. Notice the Swiss flags they brung out after the race.
