You could see with the drying conditions before the first stop that the tyres were working brilliantly, Raikkonen was absolutely flying, so they took a gamble. Obviously, they got it badly wrong.
However, they seem to have gotten it doubly wrong as I seem to remember immediately after the pitstop when I don't think it had started to yet rain, Lewis was pulling away from Kimi; once it started to rain, his advantage multiplied and he started gaining seconds a lap on him.

Curiously enough two superb drives in decidedly average (or possibly downright rubbish in the case of the Honda) cars.

All F1 races from now on should be run wet.

In other news. I've seen shark fins on Force India's today... Seems like everyone will have 'station wagon' design instead of current 'fastback' one soon. And when did Toro Rosso use it for the first time?

Don't forget that the cars could be adjusted not only for heavy rain, but also for light one or even for a dry track (Massa maybe?).

I was going to say Massa is just bad.

But then I realised this would be controversial.

I'm not Massa's fan either, but he is obviously not the worst driver in a row...

I don't think so. They're still going to show the German Grand Prix soon.

they were originally not supposed to have a race this season, but the ratings have done well enough they are increasing the coverage. for the german GP they are bringing the pre-race show back on speed, then the race will be on Fox

aparently renault & ferrari made the same mistake by not changing the tyres for Alonso & Kimi because they rely on the same weather forecast, which said that there will be light rain.

great entertainment though

IMO massa should go to a different racing series

Pff, he managed to lead Kimi for a long time last season and has been basically on par with him this season, and Kimi is pretty good.
