According to reports, Peugeot only has 5 tubs-3 of which have been damaged or destroyed in accidents, and one was the 908 HY demo car.

Also, IMSA's listing has only one 908 on it now.

See, they shouldn't have been wasting tubs on that HY.

Team LNT / Zytek / Ginetta press release:

Quote:
Ginetta-Zytek LMP1 for Team LNT at Petit Le Mans

Team LNT today announced their entry to the 2008 Petit Le Mans race at
Road Atlanta with a Ginetta-Zytek LMP1 car.

Team LNT's previous LMP entry was a 'one off' LMP2 Zytek at Silverstone
exactly 12 months ago. That effort resulted in pole position, fastest
lap and second place having dominated the race early on with Danny Watts
and Tom Kimber-Smith at the wheel. Prior to that, Team LNT was an
ever-present part of the LMS and Le Mans 24 Hours with TVR in 2004 and
2005 and the Panoz GT2 team during 2006 and 2007.

Danny Watts (under management with LNT) will again drive for Team LNT
with the yet unnamed second driver said to be one of considerable
'experience and speed'.

The new Ginetta branding of the Ginetta-Zytek LMP car is symbolic of the
recent announcement that Bill Gibson (Zytek founder) and Lawrence
Tomlinson (Ginetta's Chairman) now have an equal controlling interest in
Zytek Engineering.

"Several new and exciting projects have been kick started by the new
relationship" said Tomlinson. "Both companies will complement and
strengthen their presence in International Motorsport with Ginetta
benefiting from the high-end technology filtering down into its road and
race cars.

"Zytek Engineering is one of Britain's best kept secrets with a hugely
talented staff vastly experienced in varied automotive technologies. We
believe this partnership will assist Zytek Engineering in becoming a
much more visible force, demonstrating its abilities across a broader
automotive range" Tomlinson continued.

"The end result of the new on-track race team and development programme
between Ginetta and Zytek Engineering will assist road car innovation
and manufacture".

Tomlinson's Zytek involvement has accelerated several development areas
such as the new Zytek LMP2 engine, a new 4.5ltr LMP1 engine (already in
a car testing and still on time to race at Petit Le Mans) that will form
the basis of the recently announced Hybrid project.

Ginetta and Zytek are delighted to have secured the considerable
support, resources and enthusiasm for the first Hybrid project with
CORSA motorsport in the ALMS. CORSA motorsport will also race in LMP1
for the first time at Petit Le Mans.

The exciting new project will not be the first time the Ginetta brand
has been launched at a major International event, with a Ginetta G4
having competed at Sebring in 1965! 43 years later and it is Road
Atlanta, with over 100,000 people in attendance and extensive
International TV coverage, providing a World stage for the British
Sports Car manufacturer.

Ginetta produce race cars primarily for its own 'one make' racing
Championships. The Texaco Havoline Ginetta G20 series is the largest one
make championship in Europe. The Ginetta Junior Championship is for 14
to 17 year old drivers and is on the British Touring Car Support
package. The all new Ginetta G50 Cup car provides racers with a real GT
car experience

The Ginetta G50 GT4 car has won every round of the British GT
championship in its debut year clinching the title as early as July this
year.

Team LNT have recently been busy away from the Le Mans series with
development of the all new Ginetta G50 race car and road car production.
The 11th Annual Petit Le Mans, the signature event of the American Le
Mans Series, is scheduled for Oct. 1-4, with the 10-hour, 1000-mile race
on Saturday, Oct. 4. The 10th Anniversary Petit Le Mans in 2007
attracted more than 100,000 spectators from around the world.

Audi Announces Driver Lineup for Petit Le Mans

Audi Announces Driver Lineup for Petit Le Mans
Dindo Capello and Allan McNish get their chance to write another historic chapter at Petit Le Mans Powered By The Totally New MAZDA6 Oct. 1-4 at Road Atlanta as Audi Sport North America has added the two-time defending race champions to its two-car lineup. Capello and McNish, reigning champions at the 24 Hours of Le Mans with Tom Kristensen, will team with Emanuele Pirro in one of Audi's diesel-powered R10 TDIs.

The addition of Capello and McNish gives the race another marquee lineup in addition to those from the likes of Peugeot, Porsche and Acura in what already was the strongest entry list in the history of the 1,000-mile/10-hour endurance classic. Marco Werner and Lucas Luhr, who earned the Series' LMP1 championship at Detroit in the previous round, will drive the No. 2 entry.

Audi has never lost at Road Atlanta since debuting there in 2000. No driver since Tom Kristensen in 2002 has won both Petit Le Mans and the 24 Hours of Le Mans in the same year. Pirro and Frank Biela accomplished the feat in 2001.
McNish and Capello can become the first drivers to win Petit Le Mans three consecutive years. The only other driver to earn back-to-back Petit Le Mans wins is JJ Lehto, who won in 2003 and 2004. Capello has four victories while McNish has three. Meanwhile Pirro has two victories and Werner one.

"This year we won the 24 Hours of Le Mans, the American Le Mans Series and the Le Mans Series in Europe with the R10 TDI," said Head of Audi Motorsport Dr Wolfgang Ullrich. "Obviously we'd like to continue our winning streak in the American Le Mans Series' most important race alongside Sebring. In the shape of Acura, Peugeot and Porsche we have very strong competitors, some of which have also strengthened their driving squad. I'm convinced that we are in a good position with our driver lineup."

SPEED To Finally Air Petit

SPEED To Air Petit Le Mans Preview Live From Road Atlanta On Oct. 2

Petit Le Mans powered by the Totally New MAZDA6 will see unprecedented coverage next week with SPEED providing three-day coverage from Road Atlanta. On the schedule is a one-hour preview special Thursday night with Friday's qualifying shown online and the race broadcast live on Saturday.

Similar to this year’s coverage from the Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring in March, SPEED will host a Petit Le Mans special starting at 7 p.m. ET Thursday, October 2. The show will originate pit side, previewing the race and providing a taste of on-track activity and off-track reaction as the race’s night practice session unfolds. Then, on Oct. 3, qualifying will be streamed live by americanlemans.com and SPEEDtv.com starting at 3:25 p.m. ET.

On October 4, six-and-a-half total hours of race coverage from the penultimate event of the 2008 American Le Mans Series season starts at 11 a.m. ET with the green flag of the 1,000-mile sports car classic at 11:15 a.m.

Long time sports car play-by-play announcer Leigh Diffey will anchor this year’s coverage, as 1989 Trans-Am Series Champion Dorsey Schroeder and road racing veteran Calvin Fish provide color commentary from the booth. On pit road, former racers Brian Till and Chris Neville are set to be joined by sports car insider Jamie Howe to cover the many storylines throughout the weekend.

This will be the network’s 10th year of broadcast coverage from the race’s 11 years of existence.

“The Petit Le Mans special will celebrate the first 10 years of this great endurance race,” said Rick Miner, SPEED Senior VP of Studio Production & Operations. “The show will also preview that Saturday’s race, especially with the great background of night practice where we’ll be able to interview drivers and get the impressions immediately after they leave the track.”

This year’s Petit Le Mans Powered By The Totally New Mazda6 is stacked with star power, both in the driver’s seat and on track. Like Sebring and Le Mans earlier this year, Peugeot Sport will re-engage its LMP1 battle with the dominant Audi factory team when they offload a diesel-powered Peugeot 908i racer stateside for the second time this season. Highlighting the Peugeot driving lineup will be former Formula One shoes Christian Klien and Stephane Sarrazin; both competed at Le Mans this past June. Among the other drivers competing in Petit Le Mans this year will be open-wheel stars Helio Castroneves, Ryan Briscoe, Tony Kanaan, Scott Dixon, Marco Andretti and Dario Franchitti, along with Series regulars such as Marco Werner, Lucas Luhr, Gil de Ferran, David Brabham, Johnny O'Connell and many others.
