The commentators seemed all too free and easy talking about the possibilities of Webber and Williams when his contracts up with Jaguar. I've never seen a race at Monaco, but i definately have seen the track layout so it will no doubt be a race of Pits and Qualifying

Not a very exciting race. I was able to spend the first twenty minutes of the race talking on the phone to a friend, with the sound on the TV off and still not miss a thing.
Schumacher deserves his success. We are watching a genius at work. The only question now is - can Schuey win all the races this year? Doesn't look like anyone is even close to him. He even wins with a sick car...

Never seen a Monaco race?? One of the premier Grand Prixs (along with Monza and Spa-Francorchamps and Silverstone). You really must watch the next round then. The cars have outgrown Monaco. The circuit is tight, narrow, dangerous. But the race is the most glamourous in the championship and Monaco is the one race all the drivers really want to win.
It was the scene of Olivier Panis' only victory in F1, when he guided a Ligier to victory in the 1996 Monaco Grand Prix. Incidentially it was Ligier's first victory since 1980 and their last ever victory.
Watch Monaco. Tape it if you have to. Its worth it just to see how the drivers cope with the demanding layout.
Schuey will win, barring a crash or catastrophic engine failure, however.

Well last year was the first year i put any dedication into watching the V8 Supercars, so this year i'm playing that card with F1 and i'm toying with it for CART, but i'll definately be watching most of the rounds this year, despite checking on the RPM site to find some will be broadcast live at around 2:30 in the morning

Yeah, that'll be the Brazilian Grand Prix or the US Grand Prix. They're both on in the wee small hours of the morning. Hopefully its a public holiday next day, or I'll consider taking leave...

Id actualllyrather cart...although that wont be a popular option here....With the dodgy times these are telivised at im actually quite glad i couldent really give a rats about f1...if there was more passing and was more unpredictableon the podium it would be a better championship...prehaps this catigory might benafit from the dodgyest of points scoreing like nascars and our v8 supercars...while it seems unfair it would add intrest and add pressure to the guy out in front....

I tend ro disagree here, Monaco should not be on the calender, it is not a motorrace, but a parade for the royal family there. There is no real racing going on, overtaking of a defensive careful driver is impossible (Remember Coulthard and Bernoldi), and yes there is some point in the fact that drivers have to be good at avoiding walls etc, but it might even be better to let the result be decided by the aggregate of three free laps for everybody, so then it becomes clear who the fastest/best driver actually is. This is difficult to accomodate within changing external circumstances, but really this circuit has no right to included. It only serves to prove that F1 is a playground for the rich and famous and that is really why the pilots are keen on winning it.
