FOTA would sooner buy A1GP outright, ditch the teams and take their calender.

It's all Ferrari. Although the tubs may be made somewhere else. John Travis designed the car based on an earlier Ferrari F1 car.

The original A1 GP car had a Lola chassis and Zytek engine. Not one of those has as ever failed.

That's a funky calendar. It's unfortunate Spa Francorchamps is owned by Bernie.

Lausitzring seems out of place....being a "roval" and all, Indy gets away with that because it is Indy, but F1 cars should be on actual road courses...

Interesting and appreciated moving the ultimate round to Australia. I'm interested to see how well surfers paradise would go down (lets be serious, Adelaide is nowhere near interesting enough to host FOTA).....

Adelaide is too busy courting V8 Supercars these days. Surfers Paradise would be painfully tight. Champ Cars had processional races there at the end and that was with the turbo push to pass cars. FOTA are keen on ditching KERS and so are unlikely to have anywhere near the same on track action. It'll be Monaco Mk (whatever its up to now after Macau, Valencia, Singapore, Abu Dhabi etc), again without the heritage and prestige.

But with the Bikini Meter Maids.

What would you suggest as a crowd pleasing alternative?

Isle of Man TT coverage is the best around of any motorsport now.
600 fps cameras on the best corners, chase cameras and then the evening bits they don't televise The naked ladies on the back of bikes etc etc

http://www.itv.com/ITVPlayer/Program...=1&Filter=2714 but none of the latter bits, sorry !!

why is that in more ways than one?

This sounds to me like Mosley's won...he's gotten the teams to agree to his conditions and all he has to do is have some tentative agreement not to stand for reelection.

doesn't mean he won't be a part of the organisation though, or have a say....

I guess FOTA was all huff and puff.
