Ferrari's hopes for third in the constructor's championship looks slim with McLaren very quick. Kobayashi continues to impress.

Don't forget about Nakajima in the Williams-Toyota.

Neither Nakajima nor Toyota will most likely be with Williams next season though.

I'd say Barrichello and Hulkenberg will be driving Williams-Cosworths next year.

I think Fisi is sandbagging with a heavy fuel load.

That said, his days at Ferrari have been pretty dire so far. He has struggled with a lack of testing getting used to the car and the different braking required. One of the biggest things to get used to in a new car is the braking, if from a different manufacturer. According to the BBC practise coverage there is now even talk from him of getting Ferrari to allow him to find a race drive next season, while still under contract.

iirc the contract already allows him to look for another seat for next year.

I don't think Fisichella is half bad, but Ferrari is running with only one car since this summer, which is the funny part. The sad part is that even Algersuari or Grossjean had a better time adapting to a completely new car.

Either the F60 sucks to get used to or they don't know how to welcome new drivers.

I'm actually a massive Fisi fan. When he teamed up with Alonso at Renault, I was like, this is it nows your chance. And unfortunately Alonso was more than a match for him. He could match Alonso's pace the odd day but he was inconsistent with it. From that day on I have been bitter towards Alonso!

Williams announced officially that they will have a Cosworth engine in 2010, so Kazuki will most definitely be without an F1 drive next year..

Well i think its not just the brakes Fisichella is struggling with, but specifically the KERS braking which of course is something Algersuari and Grosjean dont have to deal with in the Toro Rosso and Renault.

Ferrari are running a few 2010 bits on Fisi's car so it's basically a test session the last couple of races.
