    Porsche Cayman

On Wednesday I attended the UK launch of the new Porsche Cayman at the local Porsche dealership, Carrs of Exeter. There were 3 models on display - one in grey, one in black and a stunning red Cayman S. I took a selection of pics which you can view on my Flickr page - follow this link:

    Enjoy!

Nice...good-looking car. I like Boxsters in general, which I know draws ire from the Porsche guys. Good pics of a good-looking, quick, and great-handling car.

The funny thing is, that it actually is a good car.

If it was the Alfa Romeo Boxster we all would be drooling over it.

Instead we have to settle for a stupid automatic coupé with a Fiat engine which is too wide to fit in a proper European mountain road.

the new one looks really good - i think they are hurting themselves buy not offering it with the full engine like the 911, make a GTS version or something.

I think they'd end up hurting themselves if they did, eat into 911 sales. Having said that, they do offer a 265hp "normal" version and a 315hp S version with sub-5 second 0-60 times here in the US. Not sure if they offer it down where the toilets spin backwards and the seasons are reversed, though :P

The Cayman has actually a 10 bhp bump over the Boxster engines, so it's 275bhp for the standard car and 325bhp for the S.
