I have an album by Moby with best-of-songs. Perfect for driving. Love it especially on a nice summer day(unfortunately it's allready autumn ), windows open, chilling out !

I also have the Gareth Emery Podcasts burned onto CD's. Good stuff for driving.

The Gareth Emery Podcast: the net's leading trance and progressive podcast radio show.

doesn't it depend what kind of driving?

e.x. on the prowl, cruising with your boys, cruising with your girl, driving to a party, driving to a fight driving to a fight at a party, day driving, night driving, night driving in the rain, day cruising, night cruising, day racing, night racing, night racing in the rain...

or just some Yo-Yo Ma's Inspired by Bach

really though

i'll edit this later when i'm more serious sry

Great song, but it's not advisable to listen to them whilst in control of machinery

During the day, probably "Makes it alright" or any other song by the Hellacopters. At night, I like to listen to Amon Tobin, RJD2 and Thievery Corporation.

Queens of the Stone Age are brilliant to drive to, but in some extreme cases can cause genocide (Hitler used to listen to QOTSA- fact).

I personally find trance without any words to also be great for that.

Generally I listen to rap while driving, I keep chillin' and taking it cool so I respect speed limits. Sometimes I'm *under* the speed limit. "That's That Shit" by Snoop Dogg is the song I chill the most on. <cough>70 km/h on the highway</cough>.

Classic rock is my second favorite genre. "Panama" by Van Halen is what it takes to get me driving madly. <cough>average 160 km/h on the highway</cough>.

I also enjoy reggae (mainly Bob Marley) and sometimes heavy metal while driving.

Well i always think that its what you are into at the moment.
Currently my driving playlist contains:

Cameo - Word Up
Eagle Eye Cherry - Save Tonight
Third Eye Blind - Semi Charmed Life
Aqualung - Brighter Than Sunshine
Anna Nalick - Breathe
Thin Lizzy - Do Anything You Want To

I quite enjoy driving to these at the moment, windows down in the hot weather singing out loud!
