Car Interiors... Favorite Seat Material

Which seat material (upholstery) do you prefer in cars?

My first choice is leather.
Looks great, seems to keep that "new car smell" for a long time, is comfortable (the soft leather; some leather seats are kind of stiff), easy to clean.

It does, of course, get hot in the summer and cold in the winter, but for me the advantages outweigh the disadvantages.

After leather, I would probably pick velour (even better: crushed velour).

Offcourse leather is quite nice, but waaay to expensive for most of us. I can settle with anything really, as long as the seats' basic shape is good.

The stuff in our companie's vans is vynil of some sort, it's not very good. It's all wrinkled now and you slide over it way too easy. Comfort is pretty good though, king of the road feeling

Leather is HORRIBLE, its cold in the winter and hot in the summer, not to mention it has ZERO traction...

I'm a cloth/velour guy...leather and vinyl get too hot for my tastes in summer and feel too cold in the winter. However, leather/vinyl are really the only materials that look like they belong in a classic car, so despite my tastes, most if not all the cars you'll see me drive from now on will probably have vinyl or leather.

Ass-pinching, cloth racing buckets.

To be honest, I prefer a cloth interior over leather, but I wouldn't mind having a leather interior if it was done right (for example, Ferrari.)
