i think it's real, cuz the headlights and hood aren't low enough, and the angle of the headlights is too upright for it to be a real SLR. i also don't think if someone had a SLR they would put those shi**y tires on it (look at the width of them!). the hood isn't flush with the rest of the body, also

Quite possible.
The triclk for small kit makers is to take moulds off of a real car and use them to layup fibreglass panels.
Then fit them to a donor car.
Looking at the sheel being put together it definately looks like panels take from moulds.

Check out Banham kits which trasnform the likes of the ratty litle MG Metros into Audi TT, Porsche speedster, RS200 and frog-eye sprints. See http://banmoco.co.uk/ The TT one ended in a court case and Audi forced him to change his moulds !!

This looks like specialist builder making either a one-off to demonstrate their capability or maybe the prototpe for conversion kits to follow.

Either way, it looks quite good.

Mercedes reveals High Tech production line.

In a statement today Mercedes boss Werner Schnitzel announced the opening of Mercedes brand new high tech production facility.

"Since our F1 engines started playing up, Ron Dennis got really pissed off, and says he won't let us have our SLR factory back untill we fix the problem.

With Norbert Haug spending all his time thinking up new excuses, which don't involve the word 'engine failure', we were forced to resort to drastic measures, and open a new facility at a top secret location in East Germany.

It may look like some dodgy Deutschlanders in a shed, but we have spared all expense in getting our Flagship car back into production."

He went on to deny any claims that there were any corellation between this shift in production, and a fall in performance and quality of the SLR.

i think it's ok, where the fabricator messed up was making the car too narrow, It looks unproportional being two feet too narrow

same goes for the tires, are those spares
