I was planning on giving you a sympathy vote, Tim, but on further inspection your pic is definitely deserving.
I really like what you've been doing with light lately. For a while, your pictures struck me as very rigid and documentative? (as in you tried to capture as much information as possible in one shot). But in your recent shots you seem to be focusing less on purely recording an object's presence and more on the stylistic element, which I like. You seem to be a lot better at capturing the way light and shadow interact on a surface and I think your pictures are a lot better for it. 2¢ from somebody who knows nothing about photography.

My little point-and-shoot is kind of hit or miss in low light situations; sometimes the image comes out too grainy, other times it's just grainy enough, and I have to hold it perfectly still for long enough or it comes out blurry. The pictures rarely come out exactly the way I see them or the way I want them to.
The lighting in this case was pure serendipity. Outside of the frame there's a police car parked on the other side of my car; its headlights were on and shining under the Cougar illuminating the shattered glass. Despite the situation I really liked how it looked, and I'm very glad my camera got it right this time. Thank you both for the compliments.
