I think I read somewhere recently that a majority of BMW owners does not even know which wheels are being driven.

^^^^ yea that was actually my first thought on this too.
Yes, many more brits will stand aside and laugh than go help  The forum that was posted on had even WORSE examples of that lack of social care. I blame Sky TV and it's many viewer-supplied-paid-for-video-clips Sky TV --- Rupert Murdoch --- FOX .... 'nuff said !!!
