T5 5 Spd Standing Start 0-100km/h: 6.7 seconds Nice car and very fast for it's time

VN HSV SV5000 5.0lt 200kw Nice looking car fast seen one of them pull out in front of me 3 years ago and it pulled away easy

No what he is saying is that the GM world builds RWD V8 cars but they are not avaliable in the US. He mentions the Holden Ute, the Caprice and the Lumina as being cars (not made in the US) that are avaliable in the US. He does say Chevrolet build the cars but I am sure that he means Chev engines go into cars built elsewhere (This is confirmed by his mention of Opel and Holden). I think you miss read that article and owe an appology.

for the life of me i dont know why they wouldnt have recieved Holden's website searching for any info from the PR guys, surely that wouldve provided much more than the gmme.com site since we're the ones building them

I can understand Slickholden's confusion though, the article doesnt really outwright say where they believe the car is sourced or anything. Apart from that though the article was a good laugh at times

This is where i got it from
Okay, here it is. Chevrolet builds and sells V8-powered, 300-plus-horsepower, rear-wheel-drive sedans in the Middle East. It also sells what is essentially a V8-powered, rear-wheel-drive El Camino in Australia.
GM sells a 405-hp version of this car in Australia called the Holden HSV GTS-R
By saying, He does say Chevrolet build the cars but I am sure that he means Chev engines go into cars built elsewhere is just pure speculation, And i make no appology to someone that didnt get all the facts before they posted something like that on a webpage, My reason for seeing red is simple, They Americans wouldnt stand for anyone around the world saying anything like that at all ever, they would take it as a masive insult so why should we take it, It's a insult to us. And one part did make me laugh i must admit,

They asked GM's public relations staff for information about these cars, but they didn't have much to offer. The best they could do was give us a GM Middle East Web site address, www.gmme.com. There we learned more, but not as much as we would have liked. And when it came to the Ute, GM Communications offered up nothing. Maybe cause they know nothing
Im glad they like the cars but he needs to find out more before before doing that again on a website.
I might be going on a little but i think they got to know before they say something in the future.
If a yank said that any australian built ford was theres i would say the same thing and i hate ford but i wouldnt listen to them try to clam one of our fords ether.
