Bugatti Veyron 16.4 vs Mclaren F1 LM
B.V. 16.4: 1001hp, 0-60mph in 2.7 seconds, 406 km/h top speed, $1 700 000. M. F1 LM: 680hp, 0-60mph in 3 seconds, top speed 362 km/h, $1 307 000. I'd take the F1 just for the race car looks. (who needs 1001hp or will actually use 1001hp without being pulled over by cops?)

F1 LM, absolutely. I'm not a huge fan of leather everything, chrome, sat-nav, etc. I'll take the more raw automotive experience, please.

I'd take the money and get an F40 to drive, and a 959 to live with.
I realise both of those would beat an F40 on a track (probably) but I don't care, the F40'd be the best drive. |

McLaren F1 LM. I find the sound of the Veyron to be less than inpirational, where as the F1 has one of the greatest sounds of all time. The F1 LM wasn't made to be soft and easy to drive; it was made to be challenging and fun. Any idiot could drive a Veyron from the reviews I've been reading. Personally, I don't think I want to drive an any idiot car.

The F1 to keep safe or the veyron to drive every day... it's a hard choice, i'd take the veyron... no, the F1... no...

If I HAD to choose between these two, it should be the Mc Laren. But if it was my money I would get a Pagani Zonda F.

Veyron. If I wanted a trackable "super" car, I'd get the hottest Lotus Exige. Even the baddest Exige will cost less than a years insurance on these cars.

Wow I'm surprised the two are so neck in neck. Right now anyway, they're both at 50%. My vote goes to the McLaren. I always found the bugatti way too fancy and flashy. The F1 is a purer racecar, but it's also got some practical features, like three seats and the way in which they're arranged. I also dig those little side compartments on the outside of the car

Apparently you can't insure a Veyron with any British insurance companies. That'd be a bummer if you'd just bought one wouldn't it?!
As for the choice - gotta be the F1 LM: it is my all time fave after all!
