Live for Speed.

Quite fun to do actually. A regular thing to spend time on in boring breaks and between hours. Quite a handy game to learn the effects of certain suspension tweaks. The output after a change can really be fun to analyse. Tweaking it until 0.001 of something, ooooo yeeaaa

Counter Strike

Some high school friends and I regularly play it together. We are a real match to eachother so it varies a lot who wins. I usually get the nice kills(aka very long distance), another one does effective moving and another prefers a good nade trow... Very nice game.

Day of defeat

Same engine as CS, so just very good. The weapons are imo better though. I especially like the one-shot, one-chance weapons. Really my thingy.

Oldschool SNES games using an emulator

Titles include Lamborghini, Super Mario Kart and Simcity.

Only game i'm playing is Total Club Manager 2004. Can't afford newish games so got this for 30 dollars. Its a huge amount of fun for me and offers you more and more things to do as you go on in the game.

im pretty oldskool, so i have the NES, SNES, N64 and PS1. so i play mario games for the NES, Mario RPG(greatest RPG evar!)for SNES, and RUSH 2 for N64. PS1 blows though....

trying to play DIRT demo but i get blank screen on run. I have latest drivers etc..i will have to fiddle

its a very very demanding game. what specs do you have? you may not meet requirements.

not great but enough for most: AMD64 3500 (939, it would be an X2 if I had AM2), 1gb ram, 512Mb 7900GS, SB audiogy...

hmm you should be fine. the CPU wouldnt help but try out all the well known trouble issues. you should be fine to play the game on medium-low settings. make sure you have the latest DirectX. v important.

i will double check direct x although the installer installed directx itself. No worrys, I think i need to shut down some background apps.

EDIT: i closed my desktop manager and t works fine now.

1024x768 and ultra details and everything on and works with no problems and mighty fine images Will up to 1280x1024 tomorrow on other monitor.

"Only" an e6600 and 7900GT graphics so kind of middle to bottom end of market already !!!

yeah im experiencing fine performance on ultra with a 4400+ X2 and x1900XT but most people wont have these PC's. well, most people who arent avid pc gamers. But how can you say your machine is middle to bottom of the market!!?
