Red Faction Guerilla

Just downloaded the the demo on Live last night. Couldn't put it down for nearly 3 hours (despite the demo mission being fairly short). Guess I'm a simpleton that really likes smashing and blowing stuff up, but I am definitely getting this one when it comes out. I thought I would hate the new 3rd person format (having loved it as a 1st person shooter), but I got over it quick once I started swinging that big sledgehammer at hostile soldiers. I haven't put my guns away this much for a shooter game since Escape From Butcher Bay.

The game world is supposed to be open like GTA and Saints Row....and is supposed to be fairly large from what I understand. I especially like how you're rewarded for destroying the enemy faction's property and assets. But nothing.......and I mean nothing.....compares to the fun that is to be had when you jump behind the controls of one of the game's 2 legged mining walkers.

Anyone else tried it yet?

Wait, there is going to be a new Red Faction? Interesting. I shall have to look into it.

it still has the completely destructible terrain? sounds awesome, loved the original.

Destructible architecture as well (as in....buildings you can smash and break apart piece by piece)
