Changed the brake pads to Carbotech's Bobcat compound, its a street performance compound....also ordered some bronze caliper slider bushing...

So you've done a few things now then RM. What's been the most beneficial improvement so far?

Can't say for sure, I am still trying to chase a more firm brake pedal feel, which maybe more of a VW brake system design than anything else. I probably will eventually do stainless lines, but probably not this year. The pad did nothing really to improve the feel(might be slightly worse when cold actually, the very first stab of the day is actually softer I feel, but as it warms up it gets better and more progressive than stock VW pad). The bushing kit is just something I found and looks easy enough to install. So I'll give that a go...

Aside from that, I'll definitely need more tire next year as the stock all season is by far the worst part about the car...The ECU tune is fun, no detriment really to fuel economy(still hovers between 24-28mpg depends on what I do in a tank). I like my Magnaflow sound....

Took out the marshals post ( empty at the time ) and about 20 tyres in a big off at Scottish Sprint Championship.
Both doors looking the worse for wear. No serious damage by the looks.
So tomorrow's job either find ttwo good doors or a fantastic bodyshop
At least I got third place

Few weeks ago I ordered high performance braking system on my car. Now the parts arrived and I am going to install them wednesday. I am promised the braking distance on dry roads will be under 30 meters. I can't wait to test them. They cost a fortune though..
