but not a Bimmer (or even a pair of Beemers fused together) beneath that glass body, which holds a clue or two. Fwiw a catalogued 'production' model, and total sales flop. |

nota, thanks for the hint... lookit the vent, tail lights and the wheels.
Should have realized there was an Oz connection: Goggomobil Carry. Were the fiberglas cars only in Australia? Always liked the Dart, but it didn't sell either. Anyway, I like this little van plenty and surprised not to find it on my earlier search.

![]() I pondered whether you 'gave yourself' another hint, in regards to your "glas" reference, considering the later tie-in between Glas and BMW. Btw the Carry only had one (drivers side) door, plus a roll-a-door on the near-side to access the load area ... such as it was. Quote:

What a cool site nota, thanks! Love the Yellow Page commercial, know exactly what that's like.
Goggo McKay Mk l? That's just wrong. ![]() ![]() ![]() The Borgward I4 is a jewel of an engine... always wanted to have one just for display, all polished up. One of these days I'd like to build a DKW van with 'Busa power and FWD.
