As I recall it was decided the manufacturing process for this car was going to be too expensive....the reason given for nonproduction.

At the time I remember reading the aero was horrendous and was completely unstable and could not be driven at speed. Can't remember who wrote the article so I may be citing JC too

hmm, conflicting information on the engine configuration... but post #20, pic #3 seems to have sorted that out... V12, quad turbo... apparently, the ME Four-Twelve engine isn't all that revolutoinary...

Given that the Bugatti EB110 had a quad turbo V12 and actually got put into production... yea.
