First track day at Gingerman with my GTI, the borrowed camera has pretty crappy audio and narrow view....better than nothing I guess...

Can't decide whether he was unlucky it stepped out on the damp and cold trackm unlucky that it wedged stuck or LUCKY that only damage is two scarred bumpers !!

Reminder for future ... always run a car that is eiother longer than Doune is wide or much shorter. Equal just causes embarrasment as everyone comes to photograph it


Only way we could get it out was to drag it with a landrover which probably caused more damage than the initial wedgie


There are many competitors in the UK who will not run the Doune Hillclimb because of it's reputation for biting you on the slightest mistake or excess speed !!!
