Roy Salvadori, Mr. Shelby's co driver at LeMans when they won in '59 died June 3. RIP to both men.

I recently saw a doco called The Cobra/Ferrari Wars that fell off the internet, worth a look if you're interested about Carroll's life leading into the mid-60s and his LeMans efforts.

Just read that Roy Salvadori passed as well... both men lived to ripe old age.

He and Shelby along with the #2 car were dominant in '59 at Le Mans, finishing 25 laps ahead the third place Ferrari.
