Vacation - Playa Del Carmen, Mexico
Playa Del Carmen is about 20-30 miles or so south of Cancun. It was our first time in Mexico and we absolutely loved it. The way they showcase their country and their tourism is unreal, I've never experienced customer service like this. Amazing people, beautiful sceneries, delicious food (you think you know Mexican food until you actually eat over there..)
A bit pricey but worth it without a doubt.
Aside from spending several days inside of the resort just relaxing, we also did a couple of trips. We sailed in the largest Catamaran of the caribbean (82ft), went snorkling, visited the Mayan city of Tulum, went to an underground river with amazing rock formations, went zip-lining (badass), etc. and it's only a 1hr 40minutes flight from Florida.
