Hi all,

i filmed the new Panamera - 971 - series in stuttgart again.

I also found a brand new Boxster and Carrera testing components underneath the released design.

Here is a car that has been featured on the Ultimatecarpage, the Aston Martin DBR1. This is Chassis DBR1/3, which was not listed on the page. It was amazing to see such a piece of history driving and hearing that engine come to life.

Wow, reminds me of the Ford Exploders of the mid 90's with their Firestone tires.

Don't remember what went wrong exactly, but people made a big stink about it.

Unbelievable. Still you'd be surprised as it definately happens more often. When I was working for this car magazine in the NL, we almost rolled a Dacia Sandero. Two weeks before this test on video we had very similar results, which were even closer to rolling it. Apparently the 2WD versions are now also standard with ESP. I do remember we had something slightly different from the Scandinavian standards. I think our speeds were 4/5 km/h slower and the distance between the cones was a little bit less. I should look in my files (200km from my place now..) to be sure.


Also we crashed a pre-series Opel Astra with problems in the ESP software. They changed this for the production vehicles though. It were quite exciting times to be working there

2013 SRT Viper Premiere
I got to witness the premiere of the 2013 SRT Viper in ALMS, and it was awesome. The car just looked and sounded fantastic.
