    Jaguar D-Type & C-Type Driving

Dr. Simeone is a man who stands by his word - once a month, he drives a selection of ultra rare and valuable cars outside, and he did it here despite the rain. Here we see the Jaguar D-Type and C-Type driving. They looked and sounded spectacular!

Dr. Simeone has some wonderful cars in his collection, and it's good that people get to see them run. But it's kind of a shame it's
just in a parking lot... hardly enough to warm the oil. They might be worth a fortune now but they're still just cars. Use 'em.
Never own more cars than you can keep charged batteries in...

    Thanks for sharing that video!

Cars are meant to be driven, just like what Jay Leno does too.

I'm sometimes in Philadelphia, but not as often as I used to be. Maybe I'll stop by when I get the chance.

I wish I was closer to that museum, I would go there every month if I could see all those cars driving!

Well you're in Michigan right? I'm not sure where you are, but I'm pretty sure there are plenty of automotive museums where you are. Maybe not those that show European or foreign makes, but certainly American stuff.

You're definitely right about that, there are TONS of incredible car museums here. I've been to just about all of them several times, so I am very lucky in that respect. I plan on coming back to Philly at the end of July, because the Simeone is having a Ferrari exhibit, and one of the cars they are driving in the demonstration that week is the Porsche 917 and I really want to see that.
