Koenigsegg Agera R roof on/roof off??

I post here some photos of a cool Agera R I saw in London. I really prefer it whitout the roof instead of leaving it mounted. And you?

And here I post a video I made in which you can hear the sound of this monster (start up, acceleration with turbo whistle sound)

Six hours and a worforce of ten skilled employees.

    Probably.

    Also the interior is ghastly.

    Or something.

But it's not a convertible, it's a targa top, which means it's awesome with the roof off. It also means it's basically a regular hard-top when the roof is on.
I prefer with the roof off.

I do wonder how difficult it would be. My roof is in two parts, so it's easy enough for one person to take off and put on. Even then it can be back-breaking, leaning over the boot-lip to stow it in the boot. I can't imagine trying to lift a large one-piece panel off with one person.

I'd say that roof removal would be about a 5-7 min job with some practice. You un-clip the front of the roof, lift out, and place it in the shaped holder under the bonnet. 1 person can do it themselves, but easier as a 2 person job.

Yes. It was their Geneva show car built to order of a customer.

I do think it's that bad, I'm sure there's someone out there that likes it though.

Well if you're going to buy a ridiculous hyper-car like a Koenigsegg, why not just go all-out and make it look as outlandish as possible? There really isn't a "subdued-looking" Koenigsegg.

Don't get me wronge but isn't the Agera R a fast lighter version of the Agera so you arn't going to be taking the roof of that much. I bet it's a pain putting it on and of , i say leave it on but it's cool that you get the choice.

If you really hate the roof removal Koenigsegg can permanently fix it in place for you. Should give a slight increase in chassis rigidity.
