Agreed -- to a degree. Even though the '69 Shelby grew quite a bit, the overall car doesn't look all bad when you get a chance to walk around it some. I used to think the nose was dis-proportionally big, but the lines aren't all bad. I guess this photo best illustrates it.Rasmus, dig the signature.

I still remember about a month ago when we went the Auto Retro Motorshow and there was a stand which had a 67 or 68 Mustang next to other sportscars. Despite being relatively small by US standards the Mustang looked massive and like an aircraft carrier there.

A GT500 is just a tarted up Mustang, whereas a Cobra is a tarted up AC.
