Introducing possibly the fastest car to ever wear the Ultimate car page livery.

Also, masses of power and an ML63 equals going higher than the camera can go.

If I recall correctly I think it's hit about 340km/h at the old lemans cicuit while running minimun aero.

He's not joking either. He did that race while I was visiting him, and if it weren't for the straight he'd have lost.

I've found straights area the only area where I can comfortably out do the diesels.

I won the R1 race there in.. I think a de-restricted Porsche Spyder pretty comfortablely, but the AI were on medium and the TC was on.

Ok, so was this game good? Console-wise; I have no intention of putting this against a GTR or Richard Burns Rally type.

I've been out of the loop on the whole Forza 3 thing. They seem to have put a lot of effort into LMP1/2 from all the pics I see (R15, 908, RS Spyder, etc.); which makes me think that they put in more GT style racing.

Are there multi-class races? Or is it still that boring 8 car field?

    Redeeming features vs. the 2nd?

if you liked the second you will like this, similar with more depth.
the rewind button in career mode is a godsend, gimmick or not.
a lot of the races are pretty interesting; R3 class sprints for example..

If you played the second, its biggest changes include a vastly improved UI, more tracks, some newer cars (but most are transferred) and cockpit view. If the second did nothing for you, then I'm not sure this one will change your mind too much. I'd recommend the demo, but as far as demos go.. it's pretty terrible. The engine has changed a little (for the better) but it's still no GTR as far as realism is concerned. Lotsa fun though.

Has anyone tried out the new 'Ring track pack yet? Not sure I want to spend the M$ on it.

I was thinking the same thing.

If it was a more interesting track (spa, bathurst, cadwell park (I can hope!) then I'd maybe stump up. The fact they've had to offer two free cars with it probably shows the low sales figures..

Here's hoping March's editors choice car pack is good

Ah, I didn't even realize there were two cars offered with it. What were they?

You're probably right about the low sales...only a little over 100 downloads the last time I checked. I think this one would be much easier to pull the trigger on if it were maybe only 200-250 MP. 400 seems a bit much for a single track environment. I guess that's why I'm interested in hearing feedback on it. If the track is something really special, I'll probably cough up the dough anyways. Otherwise, I'll continue waiting for the next car pack.
